  As far as Used Record Stores go, this is not pretentious or wacky with prices. I'd say your "average" used CD or record is less than $10 and the quality generally justifies the purchase. The selection is up and down, though lately it seems to be pretty well stocked. Includes an updated new records section as of this review, and has a 'new arrivals' area which is always nice. The owner does occasionally prioritize personal needs over store hours and more than a few times has left an "I'll be back" note. These kinds of stores are notoriously casual, so I give him some slack, but then I live nearby so it's just an irritation for me. Call ahead if you need to be sure, I suggest. He's sometimes a nice conversational guy, and sometimes I get the sense he'd rather just not talk at all. Again, to each his own. My problem with this and other like-minded record stores is that they don't seem particularly interested in courting return business. Try a rewards program or something if personal service isn't your thing. More and more, the lack of connection makes me want to buy online and I would think that's a major concern to this kind of business as I can find pretty much anything over the web.

  Wanted to go check out local spot. Got good reviews. Supposedly opened at 11. Guy showed up at 1130. Was pretty rude barely said hello. Selection was less than I was hoping for. Was more interested on finishing his breakfast and watching some show on small TV in back room
